Went to fix my Lenovo Laptop, diagnosed with a SSD issue. Great, got fixed.Not even one month later, entire laptop fails to boot.Take it to a friend who knows about parts, he opens and the motherboard is fried. Thermal paste is all over the place,… overheated the motherboards chips. HOW TO REPLACE ALIENWARE LAPTOP BATTERY?

- Make sure the laptop is power off and unplug it from laptop charger.
- Turn to the underside of the Alienware laptop and locate the screws holes.
- Remove all screws from the Alienware bottom casing before removing the casing. Side Note: Make sure you use the correct screw driver to avoid stripped screws.
- Locate the battery screws hole and unscrew it with the correct screw driver. Try not to touch the motherboard as it is sensitive
- Locate the Alienware battery cable from the connector and disconnect from the motherboard. You can pry abit by using a small screwdriver to if needed.
- Replace a new Alienware battery and make sure you connect the cable properly before installing the laptop battery and casing screws back.
- Power on the laptop and check whether the new battery is recognized. Make sure the battery can be charge to 100% too and drain well while using.
It is important to note that laptop motherboard is sensitive to touch and should be avoided if possible. Using the correct screw driver is important too as you don’t want to end up with a stripped screws which is hard to be remove.
