1. Boot up time: We measured the time taken for the MacBook to boot up after powering on. 

2. Launching Photoshop CS5: We measure the speed to starts the intensive application, Photoshop CS5

3. File Transfer Speed: We performed file transfer tests by copying a 1 GB file from one location to another within the MacBook’s storage drive. 

The following results were obtained after we perform Macbook SSD upgrade and Ram upgrade

1. Boot Time: The MacBook with the SSD upgrade showed a significantly faster boot time compared to the HDD configuration. On average, the Macbook installed with SSD and 8GB RAM booted up in 28 seconds, while the HDD with 8GB took 52 seconds.

2. Launching Photoshop CS5: As expected, the SSD results in a massive performance boost when SSD is installed. Photoshop CS5 starts about 4 times faster than with the original HDD

3. File Transfer Speed: The SSD demonstrated remarkable improvements in file transfer speeds. It outperformed the HDD by 65%, with an average transfer speed of 19 seconds, while the HDD achieved 53 seconds.

This performance tests clearly demonstrate the significant benefits of Macbook upgrade storage drive from an HDD to an SSD with added rams upgrade. Macbook with SSD exhibited faster boot times, improved file transfer speeds, reduced application launch times, and superior data access speeds compared to the HDD installed Macbook.
